Again, allow me to apologize for not updating as regularly as I should. Things have been crazy.
Aiyla still isn't talking really, for those who wish to know. But we're beginning to suspect that she's going to one day pop out with a few words and surprise us. It certainly seems like a case of her waiting until she's ready to talk!
Ever since she began walking, her paternal grandmother has been worried about her feet. Like most children, when she started, she walked with her feet in-turned. We've been keeping an eye on it, and I'm proud to say that she's now walking more with her feet straight than in-turned! I'm certain it is merely a matter of time before she walks just like the rest of us.
Speaking of walking . . . Aiyla has also gotten very good at walking up and down stairs, particularly down. We have a stairwell in our apt building that's got a railing with one of the rails just the right size for her. She grabs onto that and goes to town! It's wonderful to see her do. Of course, places without any sort of railing still worry me, but I bet that very soon, she'll be able to handle them, too!
Not much else is new here. Very soon I will be changing the featured picture to one that shows off her easter dress. So look for it!
